CHINA LOVE
China Love takes us on a billion-dollar ride of fantasy exploring contemporary China through the window of the pre-wedding photography industry. The film is a feature length observational documentary which follows Chinese and Australian participants as they navigate love, weddings and family in the lead up to the most important ritual of Chinese society – getting married.

We became the first journalists to talk to North Korean forced laborers in Polish shipyards, tomato farms and construction sites to find out about the loophole which essentially legalizes slavery inside the EU.

Merkel's decision to open the border for 1 Million refugees overwhelmed the local authorities trying to find homes and shelter for everyone. Berlin's LAGESO especially lacked coordination which led to legal loopholes for illegal housing activity, unjust enrichments and exploitation of criminal-minded business people.

Poland's villagers fear Russia's potential invasion and started to form privately organized militia groups to help themselves defend their home country. We accompanied them on shooting drills in the woods, field training and even during a high school oral exam in home-country defense lessons.

VICE - SEX WORKERS IN SAARLAND
Germany has one of the most liberal prostitution laws in the world. While most of the prostitutes benefit from the legal situation, others, especially women from other EU countries find themselves trapped in abhorrent conditions they cannot escape. We filmed in Saarbrücken, Germany's "capital of paid sex" to learn more about sex trafficking, dumping prices and ignorant authorities.

RUSSIAN BLACK DIGGERS
More than 2 million Red Army and Wehrmacht soldiers still lay barely buried on Russian soil. These days, illegal patriotic digging troops called "Black Diggers" use metal detectors to find the dead bodies, loot mass graves and sell Nazi artifacts online. However, they also give the soldiers they find proper funerals later on. We searched for the black diggers and found them a couple of hundred kilometers away from Moscow in the woods.
